GatePoint
Identity & Access · Beta · v3.0.0-spec
GatePoint is the BYOB (bring-your-own-backend) gate-scanner ecosystem: universal configurable Android scanner client + hardened Rust SDKs (.so: SADL decryptor, PDF417 parser, SWI32 wavelet, 2-stage licence, AES-256-GCM E2EE, garbage+watermark on licence fail) + dynamic runtime engine (config-driven workflows, rules, SOS, BOLO/intel, alerts, offline queue) over versioned MQTT (gp/v1/...). Keep your existing gate management system and upgrade every scanner to GatePoint. Revenue is per-device SDK licence; the app proves any backend can drive it via the reference open-source backend.
Business problem
Estate backends want best-in-class scan/parse on commodity Android without rebuilding their SaaS — and with piracy resistance.
Core capabilities
- ▸Android Kotlin + Compose scanner app
- ▸Hardened Rust core (.so): SADL, PDF417, SWI32, 2-stage licence, AES-GCM, garbage+watermark
- ▸Dynamic runtime engine: workflows/rules/SOS/BOLO/alerts
- ▸Versioned MQTT (gp/v1/...): config, events, alerts, commands, telemetry
- ▸Offline queue + desired/reported config with signing + rollback
- ▸Reference open-source backend + web editor
Architecture
Client-only thesis: all gate logic is config-driven from the customer backend over MQTT desired/reported topics; SDK enforces licence and encrypts. No hosted backend operated by MobiSec for commercial tenants.
Deployment: Android app (Play + managed enterprise) + Rust SDK per device; customer backend over MQTT.
Licensing: Per-device SDK licence.
